CLAYTON MANN

Clayton's Musical Journey

GULF WIND by Clayton Mann, Nashville_edited.jpg

Nashville artist, Clayton Mann, will tell you he has a mistress - and her name is rock-n-roll! Overwhelmingly talented yet grossly underaged, Clayton began cutting his musical teeth in the dive bars of Chicago as an underaged teen. With a strong preference for hard-charging guitar riffs and melodic fills, Clayton transplanted to Nashville bringing his powerful tenor voice and rock-inspired background with him. A professionally trained vocalist and instrumentalist on guitar, piano and bass, Clayton is influenced by rock  artists Queen, Billy Joel, KISS, and Elton John, overlayed with outlaw country artists Chris Stapleton and Waylon Jennings. Pepper in some bluesy BB King and a little bit of Elvis Presley, and Clayton manages to fade genre to the back, desiring to bring hard-charging live music to the forefront.

Delivering image-filled lyrics coupled with well-known high energy performances, Clayton's 4-plus octave range is able to shape shift comparable to the greats of Freddy Mercury and Lady Gaga; impressively hitting the sweet notes with enough baritone on the deep end to make your spine crawl.

Catching the attention of talent buyers, Clayton has been a high energy supporting artist at Country Fest Cadott, WI, supported Luke Combs at Kicker Country Stampede, opened for The Blues Brothers, supported Windy City Smokeout and has also been the grand opening band for Chase Rice's chain "Welcome To The Farm."

Clayton has also performed at iconic venues the Whiskey-a-Go-Go on Sunset Strip, the MGM Grand Las Vegas, the  Hard Rock Chicago  to Music Row Nashville.  When not on tour with his band, Clayton can be found in writers rounds down on Music Row or on stage at Ole Red, or Whiskey River Saloon on Lower Broadway, Nashville.  Be prepared for a high energy country show peppered with a little bit of soul and a whole lot of rock-n-roll!  Clayton Mann is one to turn heads and bend ears.  You won't want to miss this up-and-coming artist.
